We have been using Nansemond Veterinary Clinic for decades. We take all of our animals there: cats, dogs, even Grimmy the guinea pig! This clinic has seen us through major emergencies as well as every day pet stuff, and they do it in a professional and caring manner. We can highly recommend Nansemond Vet.

If I could give zero stars, I would. It’s not even worth getting into the details at this time. But all three times I have been to this vet the dog has come home worse.

My Rabbit was scratching his ears constantly and shaking his head. I took him in, the vet looked in his ear and said "ear mites". She gave him some medicine and the next day no more head shaking. The price wasn't cheap but it was fair unlike the prices for exotic pets in Virginia Beach. Overall, I noticed a problem, they got him in the next day, and by the morning after that his ears were fixed. That's all I need in a vet so I'm happy and so is my rabbit Willy. Thanks guys!

I don't live here, just visiting, when my little Pomeranian hurt her paw. I walked in with no records and no appointment and said "Do you take emergencies?" They were wonderful. If I ever need a vet when I'm in town, this will be where I'd go!
